Summertime, and the livin' is easy... Looking casual never looked so good.  There's nothing like professionally cleaned laundry pressed to perfection.  With that in mind, our June special will be about casual wear.  Bring in 4 golf/polo type shirts and we'll clean one of the casual shirts for free!  This special applies to men's and women's fashions.  Storage, furs, leathers and suedes are excluded.

Ask the Experts

Q.  Since we've been talking the last few months about shirts, what effect does starch have on them.

A. Starch has its benefits and drawbacks.  We all have a personal preference on the amount of starch - none, light or heavy starch - because of the way the finished shirt feels and looks.  Some definite benefits of starch are a crisper look and more resistance to wrinkles and stains.

But there are drawbacks.  Heavily starched shirts may wear quicker in areas that are bent and straightened frequently such as the elbow area.  The life expectancy of an average shirt is anywhere from 35 to 50 commercial washings.  Besides starch affecting the life expectancy, fiber content, construction, frequency of wear and processes will also be factors.

July - It's picnic time!!

And Before I Close.....

Some thoughts for Fathers on their day:

Take photographs of every car you own.  Later, these photos will trigger wonderful memories.

Once a year, go someplace you’ve never been before.

Become a tourist for a day in your own hometown.
Take a tour.  See the sights.

Judge your success by the degree that you’re enjoying peace,
health and love.

And Another Thing.....

We're half-way through our 70th Anniversary year.  During the summer, we'll be having some fun give-aways.  More on those in next month's newsletter.
